Delete my account
Permanently delete your Promptgena account and the personal data attached to it. Deletion runs the moment you confirm and cannot be undone.
What is deleted, what stays
Deleted permanently
- Your account: e-mail address, name, username, age and gender, password hash and Google account link
- Your profile: bio, avatar and cover image, specialties and social links
- Your unpublished prompts: drafts, submissions in review, rejected submissions and their images
- Your comments, likes, favourites, collections, follows and notifications
- All sessions, password reset tokens and creator earnings links
Not deleted
- Your published prompts: they stay online because other people have them in collections, favourites and purchases. The author link is removed and they are no longer connected to you.
- Records kept for legal reasons: a one-way hashed record that the deletion happened, and any purchase/billing records, for the retention periods below.

Only the account owner can delete an account. Sign in to continue; you will be returned to this page afterwards.
Cannot sign in?
If you cannot access your account, you can also request deletion by e-mail. Send the request from the address registered on the account; requests from another address may need extra verification. Requests are completed within 30 days at the latest.
